Tell us what you need it to do, and we will tell you what you actually need. Zebra scanners, label printers and rugged handhelds — in stock in Australia, prices including GST — plus the labels, ribbons and service that keep them running. Getting it scanned since 1991.
Often the answer is cheaper than the thing you rang about, and sometimes it is that you do not need to buy anything at all. We would rather tell you that than sell you the wrong machine twice.
That figure is a count out of the ledger, not a round number chosen because it read well. Here is what three of them look like up close.
Australian Wholesale Meats, a Sydney meat wholesaler. Three Zebra MC9400s into a chiller and a below-zero cold store in November 2025, and two more the following August — which is the only review of a supplier that costs the customer money.
One customer has had a subscription invoice from us every single month for a hundred and thirty-eight months. Every one was numbered as it went out, so that is not an estimate — it is what was written on the invoice at the time.
Another counted their stock once a year for fifteen years straight and hired the scanners from us every time. Same job, same week of the year, and they never once needed to own the hardware.
Only one of those three is named, and it is worth saying why. Bonny at Australian Wholesale Meats read his page and approved it before it went up. The other two have not been asked yet — which is a different thing from having said no, and saying so beats letting a blank look like a refusal.
There are no invented quotes on this website and there never will be. If you want to know what we are like to deal with, the useful thing is to ring and ask us something hard. Contact us.
MC9100s, MC9200s and MC3200s are still counting stock in Australian warehouses, and the people using them are usually told the whole lot has to go. Some of it does. We can tell you which parts, what replaces what, and what it costs before you commit to anything.
Pre-printed aluminium, numbered in the range you ask for, so the register is right before anybody sticks anything to anything. No printer, no ribbon, nothing to learn. Metal takes sun, solvent, wash-down and abrasion the way a thermal label cannot — and the barcode on it is read by the same scanner already reading your stock.
The same person since 1991, and the same number for twenty years. If something stops working in the middle of a shift, you are not raising a ticket and waiting.
Thirty-five years, five Sydney addresses and four phone numbers →
A scanner or a printer usually is — a great many in the field still run whatever they shipped with, because nobody ever had a reason to change it. A Windows Mobile terminal usually is not, because the application has to be rebuilt whatever you do next. One phone call tells you which of the two you are holding, and that is the difference between replacing a fleet and not needing to.
A printer is only as good as what goes through it. The wrong ribbon against the wrong stock takes printheads out, and a printhead is the expensive part. We supply both, so the pairing is our problem rather than yours.
A stocktake system built for the scanners we already sell and support. The device stores nothing — every count reaches the portal as it is made, so a count that did not arrive is reported while the operator is still standing at the rack, not discovered at five o'clock when the scanner is docked.
Scanning that matches how your warehouse actually works, on the same Zebra hardware we supply and support. Live to your database where the wireless reaches, batch where it does not. Inventory management only, and one at a time — so the first conversation is about whether it is worth building at all.
Goes straight to Andrei. You will see a confirmation on screen when it has actually been sent — not a thank-you page that appears whether it worked or not.
Thirty-five years of these conversations says the answer is usually simpler, and cheaper, than it looks from the inside.
