The count happens at the rack
Which is the entire argument for cordless in a warehouse. A corded scanner means bringing stock to a terminal, and that is where counts start getting written on paper.
Rugged cordless · 1D imager
Zebra LI3678
The LI3608 without the cable. Same rugged body, same 1D reading, and a cradle that charges it and pairs it in one scan.
Kit is the scanner, a shielded USB cable, the cradle, its power supply and the DC lead - plus the mains cord, which the kit ships without. We add it, and it is in the price on this page. The link to the cradle is Bluetooth 2.1.
Why this one
Rugged, and off the cable.
This is the most expensive 1D scanner on the site, and the reason is that it is two things at once: built for the floor, and free of the bench.
01
02
It survives the drop that follows
A cordless scanner gets carried, and a carried scanner gets dropped. The rugged body is what stops that being a purchase order every few months.
03
The mains cord is in the box
Because we put it there. The kit as it ships has the cradle, the power supply and the DC lead, but no lead to the wall - which is a poor thing to discover on the day it arrives.
It reads bars only. If your cartons carry DataMatrix or QR - and more of them do every year - the scanner you want is the DS3678-2D-SR, which is this same cordless rugged body with a 2D imager in it.

Warranty
3 years, return to base — the unit comes back to us for repair or replacement rather than somebody coming out to you. Warranty runs by model rather than by price, so it is worth checking against whatever else you are comparing.
01
Ask us before you count on it
Our distributor does not publish a stock figure for this scanner — it is one to check rather than assume. Ring or email and we will have an answer the same day, usually within the hour. We would far rather tell you it is three weeks away than take an order we cannot fill.
02
The price is real either way
What is on this page is what you pay when it is available. Checking stock does not change the number, and it is not the opening of a negotiation.
03
Tell us the part number and how many
That is genuinely all we need. You get a written quote back with freight worked out to your actual address, because a scanner to Parramatta and one to Port Hedland are not the same delivery. On the items you can buy online we have set one flat $22 rate. A new account pays before it ships, and the clock starts when the payment confirms.
04
Been comparing online? Send us the quote
If you have a written quote from somebody else on the same part number, we will match it. No haggling required, and no need to pretend you have not been looking.

Not sure this is the right one?
Tell us what you are scanning and where. Thirty-five years of these conversations says the answer is usually simpler, and cheaper, than it looks from the inside.
